We know that travel agents don’t book to Montserrat every day, so we’ll try to help you.
We prefer that you book Saturday to Saturday, but with the airlines today we know that is not always possible. We will be as flexible as we can to meet your needs. We ask that you check our availability calendar for dates available. This will help you narrow down a suitable time frame. We then suggest you call/e-mail us to make sure we are not “holding” a date for someone before you make your flight bookings. After you have made your flight arrangements, notify us right away to reserve your time. We'll get a rental agreement out to you immediately. We do accept credit cards, or if paying by check, we will “hold” your reservation for 3 days until your check arrives. Booking is not confirmed until a deposit is received and a signed rental agreement is returned. It sounds complex, but it’s really not, and avoids double booking.
The route for getting to Montserrat (MNI) is through Antigua (ANU) which is reached by many major airlines. It seems to us that AMERICAN AIRLINES appears to have the most flights into the Caribbean from the US, and personally we tend to use them the most, but we have also used USAIRWAYS, AMERICAN EAGLE, and CONTINENTAL. Other airlines available from your area may include AIR CANADA, BRITISH AIR, and DELTA to name a few more. A regional carrier like WINAIR or LIAT, as well as a few others, can be used to make connections to/from other islands to Antigua. MONTSERRAT AIR are the only scheduled airlines between Antigua and Montserrat at the present time. To book on MONTSERRAT AIR go to the website: www.flymontserrat.com . Upon arrival at VC Bird Airport (Antigua), you will go through Immigration, and then a “skycap” will help with your bags to Customs. Tell them you are “in transit” to Montserrat and need to make a connection with Montserrat Air. He will get you through customs quickly and over to the appropriate check-in. We will arrange for you to be met at your point of entry in Montserrat, and after clearing immigration/customs, the driver will load your bags, and take you to StarBlest Villa.
